Smittee's Corner

  I found a new art passion and plan on continuing to make art like this. I plan on making more, at least, of the moogle reading. I'm still working on the moogle head, as I haven't figured out how I like it yet. I have made two wood burns in the past, but I gave them as gifts to two great friends. Those were painted too.  So, what'cha think? Painted or just like this?

It was a fun year. Bought a couple of things, saw a few events. I also saw the type of art sold there. I got some ideas from my sister, who had a table with her husband. So, I find that I'm going to be really busy this summer making things. Who knows? Maybe I'll have enough product come the next CGA show.

Finally got everything worked out. The new episode has been posted (with the correction to the episode number.) Next one should be up by the end of the month. Might even be easier to post this time with both the site working and my classes ended the week of the 21st of April.

Webs.com is having a major issue with websites going down for renewal, and not allowing to have free accounts. Even if there are no premium features on the accounts, they are still saying all need to be renewed. If it continues, I'll have to shut the site down and move to Weebly. I don't want to. I enjoy the Webs interface more. We will know more with two weeks. Until then, I will post up the new comic here.

I'mmmmmmmmmmm baaaaaaaaaack! I know I've been on hiatus, but I have finally been able to return and start doing stuff. (There was a car accident, a new home move, starting back into college, etc.) Now that I'm getting back into the groove of things, first thing that happened was a new update to the website! It gave it a whole new theme, cleaned up some old announcements and whatnot, and hint at some new stuff to come. On the blog, I'll give tell some of them now! I've done a few sculpture type things, and I have yet to add their images on the site. Some made it to the finish line. Others fell to pieces and so were trashed and never got to see the flash of a camera (rest in piece, moogle). Also more to come, I've gotten into wood burning, so I'll be making new wood burned images for plaques and whatnot. I started making little sculptures. It's been a long time since I wanted to do anything like this, but I enjoyed doing so. First of all, these were not the plan. I wanted to make some digimon, but then the first one of these happened. I really liked how he was coming out, but then he fell over during the breaking process and shattered. I was so mad! So, I started to make more. As I went, I was already creating a story for them. These are the  Fred Brothers. The first one was their oldest brother. One is sad, but hoping for better days (all the way to the right). Another is just so sad that he is gone (the middle). And the last is just grumpy that he has to spend the rest of his days with his more idiotic brothers. I hope to make more of these in the future. Not sure what else I may create. Maybe I'll make Cerberus. Who knows?
