Rough months

Well, my usb is fixed. But, there's been quite a bit of being busy, being awakened at a hotel only to find out my car was totaled by some drunk driver that hit several other vehicles (8 in total including the one he was driving. With having to learn manual in a day and the constant stress of everything else, I have not been drawing... at all. So, please understand I'm not disappearing or anything. Just extremely busy. Dumpling and Wolfie will continue once everything starts to relax. Until then, just be patient.

Featured Artist: Halgalaz

Image
Need I really say more? Look at this piece! It's unique, it's detailed, & it's beautiful! All their art is absolutely wonderful! Halgalaz does original characters, Kirby art, adoptables, etc. The facial expressions are excellent. How did I run into this artist? Oddly enough, it was a final fantasy piece that they had done that was featured on a Final Fantasy group. Usually when I favorite something from a group like that, I don't always look at their page. Something about the style really drew me in. I ended up looking at the rest of their art and then BAM! I couldn't stop looking! So, check dem out! You can find their art on DeviantArt.

Where's my creativity/New Comic plans

So, the only thing I've drawn in a while is the Happy Odaiba day picture featuring Lopmon and Terriermon. I went on vacation July 22nd and came back on the 29th. Since then, I just haven't felt like drawing that much. I think part of it was what I was trying to draw beforehand. I have a concept draw of a new character that is supposed to be the wife of Rupert the Scribe. Some of you may be thinking," Why is that important that he has a wife?" The importance is that I plan on starting a new comic! Don't worry, Dumpling and Wolfie will still be around and being worked on. But, I wanted to stretch my art muscles and make this really 'fantabulous' world. I didn't have much for it yet, just a scene featuring some characters you already know (like Rupert). But, I haven't done anything since that concept art. There are other project I have that I haven't finished either. They've just been pushed back. Unfortunately, I'm starting my full

Happy Odaiba Day!

It's that time of year again! It's the Anniversary of Digimon, when those seven young kids were transported into the digital world! This image is to celebrate that day! And with the next part of Digimon Tri coming out soon, we are all excited!

Dumpling and Wolfie: Episode 31

Image
I finally finished this episode! @.@  Through the fighting of it being lost (twice). Through the fighting through my hatred of drawing hands, and having to redraw them over and over. Through my having to take a break on it before I flipped tables. It is done. Now, I can continue on, only having to draw the hand one more time (It'll be the back of it though, so not as much work.)

Correction for Draw Me As... Campaign

Can't get Etsy to do what I need it to do, so it is out for now. I do accept PayPal.

Draw Me As.... Campaign

Image
A new idea I had for a commission. This is a campaign to help me complete one goal: Get experience with drawing all sorts of creatures. This is also to help bring in some funds. (Can't just ignore that part.) To have a piece done, you can contact me through here, deviantart, my website, or etsy to order a piece and title it what you are looking for. For example, you could say "Draw me as a Turtle". Then, in the main content area, describe to me what you are looking for. Character For A Basic Lineart: $10                   For a Basic colored image: $15       For a more detailed color: $20 Backgrounds                                                              For a basic background: (no up charge)                       For a more detailed background: $5 up charge Extras For 1 building or object (like a ball or a tree): No upcharge For +1 Buildings or extra objects in the background: $5 To add another character in the picture: $10 each

The drawing I hid (Warning: Extremely slight nudity. Just shows as the bust begins)

Image
The thumbnail you see above was a picture I did in 2007.  After I drew it, other people were the reason I hid it. From the comments I was getting back, it was something were acting like it was a terrible picture. Someone even laughed at it. So, I hid it away and didn't try my hand at a realistic drawing again for a long time. I was going through my old files looking to see what I could redraw or color. I found it in that pile. It was wrinkled and torn on the edges. Seeing it in a new light, I didn't feel so bad about it any longer. So, I decided it retrace it and color it. Just goes to show you, you shouldn't let what people say stop you from doing what you enjoy. It took me a long time to draw something like this again. I don't want anyone to take as long as I did.

Ani-May: My Day 1

Image
After talking with  Frozen-Sol  on deviant-art about trying to find out more about some monthly event like Inktober called Ani-May. It really isn't an event, but it should be! So, I'll be participating (if not late into the game). Each day, I'll try to draw an anime-style picture and upload it. I may draw more than one (if my desire to 'catch up' grows any stronger.) I'll post the first one here, but the rest can be viewed on my website or on deviantart. I may make a blog post later showing all of them at the end. So, here's the first one:

How a silly doodle turned into something

Image
A strange creature was born, from the depth of a giggle. My fiance and I have a 3D printer. We had switched to TPU and an error was occurring. Once he figured it out (he's the technical one), he started to explain it to me and draw out a diagram. Looking at it, I couldn't help but see someone in that drawing. I giggled a bit, and then took the paper when he was done explaining. This is what came out of it. We both were amused by it. In fact, he liked it so much he told me I should 3D model him. I've only begun doing that, so I know that it was take me a long, long time. That, and I didn't even know what the rest of him looked like yet. This little fellow didn't have a name even. So, I decided to pull out my sketchbook and start drawing! I loved how he developed! He looked like he was part chinchilla and something else. Kirk thought he looked like a fox when I first drew him. Whatever creature he really is, I find him amusing. But, he still didn't

Shout out to Youkai Yume and Design Doll

Image
http://youkaiyume.deviantart.com/ I was going through my tumblr page, when I came across a post from YoukaiYume. I've been following her since my days of Dokuga and have loved her work since. Her art put a smile on my face and kind of puts a calming effect over me, even her amazing Mad Max: Fury Road art and Clannibal work, If you have not ever seen her art, I highly recommend looking at her deviantart above. As I was saying, I saw a new post from her. She was reviewing different free art programs she has used and I noticed one that just floored me. A program that has a main model that can be easily posed, like having a realistic artist mannequin sitting out one's desk? So, I looked into it. It is exactly what I, and I'm sure many others, had been looking for. No more scouring the internet to try and find a pose close enough to what we imagined, in order to try and figure out what we want it to look like. No more trying to stare at our own hands hoping that we'

Commissions!

Image
That's right, I'm doing commissions. The pricing is above in the image. If there are any questions, just asked. If there is a art piece you would like me to do that is much more complex than these, then asked and we can negotiate the terms. I don't usually do commissions, but it is a financially needed time. I've been having some medical issues that keeps me from finishing my degree, as well as working. As such, things have been tight. I had planned to make all sorts of neato merchandise and whatnot, and then getting a table at a convention here in Florida. But to do that, one needs the money saved to do so. So, commission time!

Life Delays

You know, the usual. A time in life, where you can't even play a game on your PC. So, I'll be back to arting at some point, when life will let me.

Huzzah!

Going to Hoggetowne Medieval Faire. Hopefully get some inspiration, both historical and artsy farsty. I'll come back with photos!

Temporary Internet

Our internet line... is really bad. The company gave us a temporary hookup (which runs around dial up speeds) until they get it fixed. The bad news is...it won't get fixed for 2 WEEKS! So, until then, uploading is a lot harder than it needs to be. So, anything that was to be uploaded (like the new D&W) will just have to wait until the internet is fixed, or I get some magical time to sit somewhere else and do it. So, just be patient. We are trying to be as we sit and watch an episode of one of our shows take almost an hour to fully buffer, so that we may keep up with it.
