I'm back!

Even with all the craziness, I did find time for art here and there. As it started to get a little easier, I started pushing myself back into art and wanting to challenge myself. I will post another blog entry about my adventure into washi tape on another blog post. Otherwise, I tried my hand at actually finishing some of the Inktober prompts . Tried my hands at some random prompt searches/ . And even tried doing some redraws of some really old artwork (my originals and some old fanart). The Last Unicorn just made me realize just how long her neck is and how spindly her legs were. The Guardian from Big Trouble in Little China made me want to vomit as I redrew him. There is still more to post, but I wanted to share a few snippets of what I've bee working on. I am very pleased to see how far my art has come, and I hope to keep growing from here.

Below are the steps in creating my first washi tape drawing (not on the mixed media) that I came up with. I did not come as prepared as I wanted, but I tried. I was happy with the end result, but boy did it come with some struggles! I worked on this piece from 11 am till 2 pm one day, an
