Episode 30 has been posted up, and I am now no longer behind on the comics! Yay! Hopefully, I can keep this up and perhaps get the next one up early. Hm? Wouldn't that be nice? Though, I am growing quite tired right now, as it is 2:57 am where I am at. Also a couple of new products been uploaded to the Etsy store. Enjoy the suspense of the comic strips! I wonder who can guess what the shadow is!

I am currently working on the next episode of Dumpling and Wolfie! Hurray! I also just finished a piece that I was working on a couple of months ago. It took many hours to finish, and I'm glad it is finally done. Still, I am happy that I did the piece. After I'm done with this episode of D&W, I will try to start work on the next one either tonight or another night (If I don't end up playing a bunch of FF XIV afterwards.) Also, more news! My classes for this semester end on December 12th and I won't be starting back until some time in January. That means I'm going to have a pretty nice break coming up, which will give me even MORE time to get caught up with art stuff (and play more FFXIV). So, some of those projects I mentioned should be getting started pretty soon. (^.^) The new art is up on my website already. And, as soon as the comic is done, it will be posted up there as well. Good stuff.

The holidays will be coming up soon, which will give time for my to get much caught up. At the moment, while the homework tends to be less cumbersome (now that the giant project is out of the way), I also am participating in NaNoWri month. I haven't uploaded anything yet, as I am going back and forth from compy to laptop for it. I do hope to finish before the due date though! I'm so excited! Also I have some other plans up my sleeve. Not only will I update Dumpling and Wolfie soon, but I might be starting another web comic. O.O Dun, Dun, Duuuun! I also have another book up my sleeves, but I'm not sure how I'm going to do it yet. It might even end up a children's book, but I doubt it. It will be a comedy type of book that is supposed to be an 'informative' one. That's about all I can tell you about it though. I have gotten better, both from being sick and being injured. Unfortunately, my school work piled up during that time and had been playing catch up for a while. I am not caught up, but being caught up still means tons of work to do. @.@ As soon as I can get a head (or perhaps a break comes up for me), then I will have time to get out the new comic. I also have a wood burning sitting unfinished on my table that feels like it is staring at me and saying 'finish....me'. >,> So, yes. When I do update, I will probably have an explosion of other things to come from it. I even have the piece that is going to take me probably forever to finish, but I'll be so happy if it comes out right. It's been a long time since I've done a super realistic piece, so the fight on 'is it exactly the way I want' is coming. I finally relisted some items and added items I never did to the Etsy shop. Huzzah, Huzzah! If I make anymore stuffs, I'll make sure to add it. At the moment, I just took the last major test I needed for my degree and passed! Yay! I did it while running a fever too...like I always seem to be. But, I passed! That's what matters. As I am sick though, I'll will try my hardest to get the next episode posted. It's been one crazy month. First, I  severely sprained my ankle and was on some strong ibuprofen. As I cannot handle much medication, I was in an out of consciousness most of the time from passing out from the medicine. It took 2 1/2 weeks to recover, and now have some soft of cold/flu that just won't go away. >.< I did get one art piece done during that time and it is posted. I'm still surprised I got it done. Anyways, hopefully I'll get better enough soon to know how to draw something again. @.@ It's all doodlies right now. Etsy is posted b

I got a message to clear cache, which I did the night before. So, I just started it up and it decided to show up. It's back! I will celebrate with probably a drawing later, but at the moment, I have homework to get done. >.> After twisting my ankle and going on 800mg of Ibuprofen prescribed to me, I have been spending most of my days knocked out from the pill. So, I have a lot of catching up to do.

Website is still out of service. I have sent an email to support, but who knows how long that will take, as I am not a premium member with webs. (le sigh) As such, I cannot post up new artwork on my site, since I can't even get into the section to manage my website. So.....Until my website is back up, all new art that I do will be posted on here. I am sorry for the technical difficulties. Here is a crossover piece I did with my two favorite characters from my favorite anime and video game. We have Deedlit from Records of Lodoss War and Rena from Star Ocean Second Story/Evolution, I liked Rena's style from the original game best. I also like the idea of having two long-eared elven types in the same photo. While Deedlit was probably a lot older in years, she was probably closer to Rena's years, considering how elves age in the land of Lodoss/Dragon Lance/Dungeons and Dragons world(s). I made a mistake.... I updated the front page and paid for a new year subscription on my domain name. So yeah... The site is now down till it's all fixed. So, no one be alarmed! If you haven't seen the September comic yet, I will post it below.

The new comic is up, which means the new parts came in for my pen tablet. Yaaaaay! It was so much easier to get the strip done, and I wasn't angry by the end of it. (I used to get so frustrated, because I spent most of them time just trying to get the line to be drawn in the direction I said.) It cut my comic creation time, in what seems like to be, in half!

It has come to my attention that the reason my pen is having so many problems for my tablet is that it is the same nib I have had since I bought it about 4 years ago. It is worn out and all sorts of silly shapes. I have ordered new ones and they should be in by at least the 9th. As soon as they come in, I will finish the new comic and upload it. FYI: My fiancee watches as I draw them and he really likes how this one looks so far. So, I'm even more excited to get it finished up.

Happy Odaiba Day! Yes. today is August 1st, the anniversary of Digimon (and my mom's b-day)! I drew the digimon above to celebrate. I have been a Digimon fan.... forever. Although. I didn't really start with the first series...well, kinda. I was visiting my sister and I was watching the episode were Lilymon appeared as Palmon's ultimate form. I wanted to watch more, but would not see the show again until series three, which I fell in love with and its dark themes. Been a fan of the series since! The new episode of Dumpling and Wolfie is out, with a slightly new look. I decided to try to draw directly to the computer. I've been drawing it and scanning the drawings in. Then, I used the drawing tablet to clean it, organize them into a comic, and THEN colored them. It was a looong process! If any of you can compare it to the other ones and tell me how you feel about it, I can see where I might make some changes or keep it up. There are also a bunch of new art tha

This video explains in details the issues about to come up dealing with Copyright law, as well as their past attempts to do things that would make it difficult for artists of all kinds to keep the rights to their work, along with past works covered under the current laws. In the description on this video, they have past events of these issues, as well as ways to write to the copyright office explaining how we feel as artists. This is important to all of us, and I want to make sure, as many others have, that this is spread and shared. The more chances we have to understand the issues and know how to get involved, the better! As an important notes, I'm going to read up on the video, the past events, and any other information I can get on this, in order to be more informed. Anything I find, I will edit into this blog and make sure it is known.

Last month's episode was posted during last month (yay!). And this episode was able to be posted up the first of the month of July (woot). I'm currently working on next month's comic, while also debating on it's length. It's going to be a shorter episode, but that makes way for the longer one to come. Which I may have to split the longer on into two, just to fit it. @.@ To be honest, I'm surprised out how this part has gone. I was expecting it to take less strips to make, but soon realized how long it really needs to be. It's not a big deal, but it is just surprising.  History of Dumpling and Wolfie (short version): Not only was Wolfie originally a fox, but the story was something I did in a notebook in high school. Just shared it with friends and giggled about it. Then, it became a web comic. Some of the very first episodes are the recreation of the ones in the book. Yes! Instead of messing with an older copy of photoshop, I have signed up for the new way of Photoshop. (As a student, it's only $10 for the subscription and the latest version of photoshop). So now, the new comic is up on the website, and now I'm starting on next month's comic. There was corruption with photoshop. When I reinstalled, it now doesn't want to work at all. Sooooo, this has ended up taking longer than I expected. When I finally got the base comic done, I felt a great feat was done, just because of how many times I had to restart that same comic over and over again. When it got to the point that just starting to color it would make it freeze, I yelled out in frustration. When I get it all working right again, the next episode will come out complete. If it doesn't come out till next month, well I guess you'll get two that month.  For those (whoever you are) still waiting, here is the sneak peak. There is no dialogue, so you'll have to guess what is going on.

Mog Central: Pen Pal, Kupo! Remember how I said there would be more to come? This is that more to come I was talking about. This is a new pen pal system for people who like to write old fashion letters and have a love of Final Fantasy moogles. Or, if you just want a moogle, you can just buy one. Signing up for the pen pal would be optional. How it works: You buy either a hand sewn moogle or a mini pom pom moogle and ask to sign up for the system. No names are given except the name of your moogle. Every letter is meant to be addressed to the 'moogle', which keeps the pen pal anonymous. (Or, if you are someone who wants to keep in contact of a friend in a cute way, specifically buy two moogles and say which moogle you specifically want to write back and forth from.) I uploaded different kinds of art as well as the new episode of Dumpling and Wolfie! Episode 24 wasn't easy to get out. I forgot to scan it in. I couldn't remember what I named it. I messed up the brightness and contrast. I added/deleted some things. I colored the whole thing, started to upload it, and then found out I forgot to add dialogue. Yeah... This one was fun.  The Dumpling and Wolfie comic is taking a new turn: serious story. I know, it seems strange. It will still be silly-like and fun colored. Just thought I might give it more of... a story. (O.O) *le gasp* So, hopefully everyone can enjoy a little adventure. So, the next few are already drawn on paper. So, it just means me getting them scanned in, rearranged, and colored. Remember, just one each month.

  I found a new art passion and plan on continuing to make art like this. I plan on making more, at least, of the moogle reading. I'm still working on the moogle head, as I haven't figured out how I like it yet. I have made two wood burns in the past, but I gave them as gifts to two great friends. Those were painted too.  So, what'cha think? Painted or just like this?

It was a fun year. Bought a couple of things, saw a few events. I also saw the type of art sold there. I got some ideas from my sister, who had a table with her husband. So, I find that I'm going to be really busy this summer making things. Who knows? Maybe I'll have enough product come the next CGA show.

Finally got everything worked out. The new episode has been posted (with the correction to the episode number.) Next one should be up by the end of the month. Might even be easier to post this time with both the site working and my classes ended the week of the 21st of April.

Webs.com is having a major issue with websites going down for renewal, and not allowing to have free accounts. Even if there are no premium features on the accounts, they are still saying all need to be renewed. If it continues, I'll have to shut the site down and move to Weebly. I don't want to. I enjoy the Webs interface more. We will know more with two weeks. Until then, I will post up the new comic here.

I'mmmmmmmmmmm baaaaaaaaaack! I know I've been on hiatus, but I have finally been able to return and start doing stuff. (There was a car accident, a new home move, starting back into college, etc.) Now that I'm getting back into the groove of things, first thing that happened was a new update to the website! It gave it a whole new theme, cleaned up some old announcements and whatnot, and hint at some new stuff to come. On the blog, I'll give tell some of them now! I've done a few sculpture type things, and I have yet to add their images on the site. Some made it to the finish line. Others fell to pieces and so were trashed and never got to see the flash of a camera (rest in piece, moogle). Also more to come, I've gotten into wood burning, so I'll be making new wood burned images for plaques and whatnot. New updates to both Dumpling and Wolfie and Super Dumpling Man to come once a month. If I get a chance to update more (maybe special updates) I will. Al
